Gale served the Jedi Order and the Galactic Republic as both a Jedi Knight and a Lord governing multiple planets; he was a male who fought in the last few decades of the wars against the new Sith Empire. In one particular engagement, the Jedi's forces, under the command of Kiel Charny, successfully neutralized the Sith army's gun emplacements. Sadly, despite these victories, Lord Gale fell in battle, dying alongside many other Jedi on that mire-ridden world. The Republic honored Gale's sacrifice, along with other Jedi who perished, by naming a ninth planet within the Ruusan system after him, in addition to the numerous monuments and statues erected to remember those who had fallen.
