Ganga sap was a substance derived from plants and was present on the forest moon of Endor. This sap was known for its intense stickiness. Back in 3 ABY, Umwak, who was a shaman of the Dulok, devised a trap. This trap involved a net that had been saturated with ganga sap. He and his nephew intended to ensnare some Ewoks within the Arbo Maze using this net; however, during the skirmish that unfolded, the Duloks themselves became caught in the trap they had created.
