During the Clone Wars, a widespread conflict affecting the galaxy between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems, Iblis, together with senators Bail Organa and Mon Mothma, schemed to oppose the administration of Supreme Chancellor Sheev Palpatine. The senators also understood that their rebellious notions would be unpopular among their fellow senators.
The character Garm Bel Iblis received a mention within the current Star Wars canon in the reference book The End of the Clone Wars, which was published in 2022 by De Agostini.
