Garren's family life consisted of his father, who held employment within a cloud city, and his mother, who was employed at a factory during the afternoon hours. He associated with a group of youths known as Borus's Boys, a gang that frequented the vicinity of the Gadrin Dump. Unfortunately, he was apprehended by Task Force Vermin, a division of the Thaereian military whose mission involved the abduction of children residing on Cularin.
