He fought alongside D'Lew and Darca Nyl in the same military group. While engaged in a battle over a spaceport, his jetpack sustained damage, causing him to plummet towards the ground. Nyl acted quickly to save him, even though Garrett objected. In the nick of time, Nyl grabbed Garrett's hands and extracted him from the fight, most likely preventing his demise.
