The gas mining operations center was a facility dedicated to mining gas. It was located in Cloud City, which itself was a Tibanna gas mining colony suspended in the skies above the planet Bespin. In the year 3 ABY, Willrow Hood and [Hadrian](/article/hadrian], who were gas miners, were employed at this very facility, despite Willrow Hood's dislike for the work.
This gas mining operations center is referenced within the short story "Due on Batuu." This story was authored by Rob Hart and made available to the public in 2020 as a component of the anthology titled From a Certain Point of View: The Empire Strikes Back.
