General Ulric Tagge was assigned leadership of a small fleet of Tagge warships that participated in the Yavin blockade. In the months after the Battle of Yavin, he moved between several Tagge battlecruisers.
The vessel's characteristics included a larger size and heavier armor than Star Destroyers, along with sensor globes integrated into the command tower's structure and numerous layers of protective plating.
While aboard a battlecruiser with polished armor, General Tagge conferred with his elder brother Orman to deliberate on the scheme to seize power from Darth Vader. Subsequently, the general relocated between several ships positioned at the blockade of the Gordian Reach.
His third recorded battlecruiser was obliterated by a squadron of Rebel gunboats, but he successfully evacuated and was reassigned to a fourth ship of comparable dimensions and design.
