A female Human hailing from Coruscant, Gizda Ramani served the Alliance to Restore the Republic as a pilot during the Galactic Civil War era. Sometime after the Battle of Yavin, which occurred in 0 BBY, Pooja Naberrie charged a spacer with the mission of finding Ramani and safely bringing her back to Dee'ja Peak, a city situated on Naboo. Despite an attack by Imperial Army troopers on the spacer, Naberrie's objective was ultimately achieved.
Gizda Ramani appeared as a non-player character within the 2003 video game, Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided. This massively multiplayer online role-playing game was created by Sony Online Entertainment and distributed by LucasArts. The game was shut down on December 15, 2011.
Players undertaking a series of quests for Pooja Naberrie were tasked with locating Ramani and ensuring her safe return to Dee'ja Peak. A guide on the official Star Wars Galaxies forum indicated a bug prevented interacting with the NPC, halting progress. The suggested solution was to let Imperial troopers kill Ramani, allowing advancement. This article does not treat this as canon within Star Wars Legends, as Naberrie specifically requested Ramani's safe escort.
Gizda Ramani's appearance was randomly selected from six options, as she spawned using the "rebel_trooper" template. She could appear as a female Twi'lek, male Twi'lek, male Bith, male Sullustan, Human male, or Human female. Given that the quest dialogue identifies Ramani as a Human female, this article considers the Human female depiction to be the canon version within the Star Wars Legends continuity. The questline involving Ramani was later removed when Pooja Naberrie was moved to Theed as part of the Legacy Quest, introduced with Publish 25's New Game Enhancements on November 15, 2005.
