Goomi was a male bounty hunter in the employ of Ziro Desilijic Tiure during the era of the Clone Wars. He once launched an assault upon the former Padawan, Crovan Dane, but Tahnchukka intervened, resulting in Goomi's death.
During the Clone Wars, Ziro engaged Goomi's services to apprehend Crovan Dane, a prospective Jedi who was in league with Bitt Panith. In pursuit of this objective, he journeyed to Kashyyyk. Subsequently, Bant Eerin, Jaylen Kos, and another Padawan arrived on the planet, sharing Goomi's mission. They gleaned information from Zaboshka regarding Goomi's current location. Upon the Jedi's arrival at the canteen, the hunter initiated an interrogation of Kos's companion. He transformed into Jaylen and challenged his friend to identify the real Jaylen. Goomi asserted that they had first met at the Temple. However, the young Zabrak corrected him, stating that they were classmates under the tutelage of Cin Drallig.
Immediately, he commanded the two Jedi to remain stationary while signaling an attack and engaging in conversation with some smugglers. He approached Dane and directly informed him that he could not evade settling his debt. The ex-Jedi responded that he was presently acquiring credits to settle his obligations to Ziro. When he signaled the two Jedi to attack, they remained unresponsive. Crovan then mocked the hunter, suggesting that his Jedi were invisible. Goomi, however, attacked the wounded Crovan, only to be struck down by Tahnchukka, the Wookiee, who wielded his weapon, resulting in Goomi's immediate demise.
