Mandalore the Vindicated and his fellow Grand Champions
The title of Grand Champion of the Great Hunt was a prestigious one. Bounty hunters held it by the time of the Cold War, a tradition established by the Mandalorians. It recognized exceptional warriors who had triumphed in the rigorous challenges of the Great Hunt. Those who earned this distinction gained special access to the [Blacklist] (/article/blacklist), and the ranks of Grand Champions almost always included at least one Mandalorian. During the Cold War era, Mandalore the Vindicated himself was among the Grand Champions, but he later passed the title on to an unidentified bounty hunter who had proven their worth in the trials of the Great Hunt.
