The individual known as the Hunter, who also went by the designation Scree, was a renowned bounty hunter and mercenary. Their reputation soared during the era of the Cold War, where they emerged victorious in the prestigious Great Hunt bounty competition. This triumph led to them being crowned the Grand Champion of the Great Hunt. Subsequently, they were inducted into the ranks of the Mandalorians by none other than Mandalore the Vindicated. The Hunter then pursued perilous bounties listed on the infamous Blacklist. However, after the Galactic Republic fabricated charges and issued arrest warrants, the Hunter became one of the galaxy's most sought-after individuals. Under the employment of Sith Lord Darth Tormen, the Hunter successfully ambushed and eliminated the Jedi Jun Seros, who was responsible for the aforementioned charges. Furthermore, the Hunter assassinated the Supreme Chancellor Dorian Janarus. With their name cleared, the Hunter continued their mercenary work for the Sith Empire, becoming a key figure during the Galactic War.
The Hunter's rise to prominence occurred during a period marked by significant galactic instability. The Cold War saw renewed conflict between the Galactic Republic and the revived Sith Empire, following the breakdown of the Treaty of Coruscant. This treaty had previously brought an end to the Great Galactic War approximately eleven years prior. Given the delicate nature of engaging in an undeclared war, the Empire readily employed hired mercenaries and bounty hunters to achieve many of its objectives. This practice persisted into the Galactic War.
During this eleven-year interval, three separate iterations of the Great Hunts were organized. The Hunter participated in the final of these competitions. Their primary adversary would become Tarro Blood, who had competed in a previous hunt a decade earlier, where he suffered a severe defeat at the hands of his fellow competitors who had allied against him. The victor of the preceding hunt was Jewl'a Nightbringer.

In the era of the Cold War, the Hunter's exceptional skills were recognized by a seasoned bounty hunter named Braden. Braden made the decision to take the talented young mercenary under his wing as his protégé. Upon arriving at Nal Hutta, the Hunter was introduced to the other members of Braden's team: Mako, a skilled slicer, and Jory, a robust Nikto responsible for security. Braden's plan was to get his protégé into the Great Hunt, a competition for bounty hunters held across the galaxy. Sponsorship could be obtained in one of two ways: either by becoming a Mandalorian, a process deemed too lengthy given the competition's imminent start, or by gaining the favor of a powerful crime lord. As fate would have it, Suudaa Nem'ro had yet to sponsor a hunter. Operating from their base in the Poison Pit cantina located in the town of Jiguuna, which was embroiled in a conflict between Nem'ro's forces and those of Voontara Fa'athra, the team initiated their search for ways to attract the attention of the powerful Hutt.
Having had past dealings with Nem'ro, Braden managed to arrange an introduction for the Hunter. However, Mako first needed to fabricate tales of the Hunter's exploits throughout the galaxy. Furthermore, the Hunter was required to eliminate a challenging target to demonstrate their worth. Mako discovered that a notorious Corellian fugitive named Vexx was present in town. The Hunter raided Vexx's safe house, finding only his henchmen and a datapad. Mako was able to slice the datapad, decrypting it to reveal Vexx's plan to escape off-planet via shuttle. Arriving at Jiguuna's spaceport just before Vexx's departure, the Hunter engaged him in combat and emerged victorious, ultimately killing him. Upon returning to the Poison Pit, the Hunter discovered the lifeless bodies of Braden and Jory in their room at the cantina. Examining the room's holorecording, the Hunter and Mako learned that Sedyn Kyne had murdered the two on the orders of Tarro Blood, thus depriving the Hunter of the necessary support to enter the Great Hunt. While the Hunter went to negotiate with Nem'ro about securing his sponsorship, Mako ensured Jory and Braden received a proper burial in the planet's swamps.

Prior to arriving at Nem'ro's Palace, the Hunter eliminated two prominent leaders of Fa'athra's forces who were entrenched in Jiguuna and posed a threat to Nem'ro's authority. Upon meeting the Hunter, Nem'ro commended them for their assistance against Fa'athra but expressed skepticism regarding the Hunter's true capabilities. To prove their reputation, the Hunter was tasked with bringing Nem'ro the head of an Evocii known as Huttsbane, the leader of a violent uprising against the Hutts on the planet. The Hunter complied, killing the Evocii along with his clan. Mako informed the Hunter via holocomm that she had confirmed Tarro Blood as Braden's killer and that a suspicious man in a bone mask had been following her. She also discovered that Blood was bribing other Mandalorians to prevent them from ganging up on him as they had done in the previous Great Hunt.
The Hunter returned to Nem'ro's Palace with Huttsbane's head, presenting it to the Hutt to his satisfaction. Before receiving payment from a Twi'lek named Juda, the Hunter was briefed by Nem'ro on their next bounty: a man named Yalt, one of Nem'ro's former accountants who had betrayed him for Fa'athra at his wife's urging. The Hunter tracked Yalt to one of Fa'athra's factories in the Rust Yards of Nal Hutta and, after a fierce battle against Fa'athra's forces, cornered him. Despite Yalt's pleas for mercy and offer of a bribe, the Hunter refused, killing Yalt and delivering the man's head to his wife.
Upon returning to Nem'ro's throne room, the Hunter was approached by a Rodian bounty hunter named Nails, who had been hired by Tarro Blood. The Hunter threatened Nails, but she refused to leave and was killed by the Hunter. The Hunter then confirmed their kill with Nem'ro, who then asked him to kill his beast keeper, claiming he was a traitor and was plotting against the Hutt. This turned out to be a trick—the keeper released a series of beasts upon the Hunter, who slayed them all. The keeper then attacked the Hunter, and was killed.

After the Hunter's report to Nem'ro regarding the demise of the beast keeper, the Hutt revealed that he had already backed a contender for the Great Hunt. Nem'ro proposed that if the Hunter desired the sponsorship token, they should locate the bounty hunter and seize it, a suggestion that sparked the Hunter's ire. Following the audience with Nem'ro, Mako approached the Hunter, offering to share the bounty hunter's identity and whereabouts in exchange for joining the Great Hunt. The Hunter consented, and Mako exposed the bounty hunter as Rarsk, a formidable Trandoshan. Mako had intercepted a communication between Rarsk and the bone-masked man, discovering Rarsk's intention to visit Fa'athra's Palace to collect a bounty from the Hutt: a Republic scientist named Albea. Determined to intercept Rarsk's bounty and ensnare the rival hunter, the duo journeyed to Fa'athra's palace. Upon arrival, they secured Albea and laid in wait for Rarsk. Rarsk's entrance into the palace led to a confrontation with the Hunter and Mako, demanding the scientist's surrender. The Hunter refused and eliminated the Trandoshan, claiming his sponsorship token. Subsequently, the Hunter collected Albea for the bounty, a decision Mako contested.
Upon their return to Nem'ro, they encountered the bone-masked man who had been trailing Mako, revealing himself as Grataa, a Great Hunt representative. He formally accepted the Hunter into the Great Hunt, granting passage to Dromund Kaas for the melee that would determine the final entrants.
The Hunter and Mako, having arrived at the Imperial Fleet, boarded a shuttle destined for Dromund Kaas, the planet serving as the capital of the Sith Empire. There, they connected with Crysta Markon, their handler at the Mandalorian enclave. Markon informed them that only a single spot remained in the Great Hunt, with over three dozen sponsored hunters still in contention. The Huntmaster then assembled the hunters in the main hall, announcing a competition for the final melee spot, requiring the submission of three bounties to avoid disqualification. The victor of the final melee would secure entry into the Great Hunt. The Hunter returned to Markon and received their first bounty: Altaca, a Republic noble captured during an Imperial raid and inadvertently sold into slavery. His slave group was constructing a statue of Sith Lord Darth Vowrawn when they initiated a rebellion and seized control of the site. Altaca's family had offered the bounty in hopes of recovering him alive.
While searching for clues at the slave camp near the statue site, Mako and the Hunter discovered a datapad belonging to Altaca, containing a holocomm from Imperial noble Lady Dak-Ah. She detailed a plan to exploit the slave uprising as a diversion for Altaca's rescue, after which he would impersonate her missing brother. Mako traced the communication back to the Nexus Room cantina, where they were confronted by Sergeant Wallax. He demanded the Hunter and Mako surrender their weapons and gear, only to be interrupted by a holocomm from Tarro Blood. Blood questioned the Sergeant about the Hunter's disposal and, upon seeing them alive, reprimanded Wallax. After Wallax ended the communication, the Hunter fatally shot him and his freelance troopers. The Hunter then confronted Altaca and Lady Dak-Ah, exposing their deception. Lady Dak-Ah attempted to negotiate a new deal with the Hunter, but they refused and killed her before capturing Altaca using the S86k. The Hunter and Mako then returned to the Mandalorian enclave and delivered their first bounty to Markon.
The Hunter's second bounty was a classified request from Admiral Fraabaal of the Imperial Navy. After initially being delayed by Lieutenant Petrak, the Hunter and Mako were granted an audience with Fraabaal in his office. Fraabaal disclosed that his daughter, Vereta Fraabaal, was the apprentice of Lord Grathan, a Sith Lord who had disgraced the Dark Council. The Dark Council was planning a raid against Lord Grathan, and Fraabaal feared the consequences for his family if his daughter was captured or killed. Deeming her a liability, the Admiral requested the Hunter infiltrate Grathan's compound and assassinate his daughter.
The Hunter and Mako journeyed to Lord Grathan's estate and located Vereta, who was expecting them. Vereta revealed that Grathan's spies had discovered the bounty her father placed on her head and began boasting about her skills. Expressing disappointment that a true Mandalorian hadn't been sent to kill her, she engaged the Hunter in combat. The Hunter triumphed over the Sith apprentice, who was incredulous at her defeat. Vereta protested that she was Sith and couldn't fall to a common bounty hunter before being executed by the Hunter. Mako and the Hunter returned to Admiral Fraabaal, collected payment for the bounty, and then received their next assignment from the Mandalorian enclave.
Captain Medle of Imperial Intelligence provided the Hunter's final bounty. Speaking to the Captain at the Ministry of Intelligence, the Hunter and Mako learned of a dormant ancient Sith Temple exhibiting signs of Sith sorcery. Access to the Temple was restricted, but Commander Gargun had secretly led a team inside to investigate. With no one returning, Medle needed the Hunter to retrieve the ID tags from Gargun and his team to fabricate more "acceptable" deaths and secure a promotion to Commander. The Hunter accepted and proceeded to the Dark Temple.
Inside the Temple, the Hunter and Mako found the missing soldiers possessed by the dark-side energy. After eliminating the possessed soldiers and collecting their ID tags, they encountered Commander Gargun, who had been possessed by the spirit of Sith Lord Barel-Slathborn. The spirit questioned the Hunter's identity, but the Hunter attacked, blaster in hand. Following a brief battle, the Commander fell, and the Hunter took his ID tag before returning to the Ministry of Intelligence. Medle commended their performance but, fearing exposure of their Temple visit to the Sith, deemed them a liability. Medle summoned his guards, but the Hunter and Mako easily defeated them. Wounded and defeated, Medle handed over payment for the bounty, stating the rest was up to them. The Hunter, declaring Medle had made a grave error, killed him before returning to the Mandalorian enclave and submitting the final bounty.
The Hunter and Mako's return to Markon surprised the handler, as Tarro Blood had falsely reported their demise in the Dark Temple to the Huntmaster. Markon informed them of the impending final melee and urged the Hunter to hasten to the battle room. The Hunter arrived and joined the remaining bounty hunters just as the final melee commenced. The Hunter proved superior to the five remaining contestants and emerged victorious. As the Huntmaster inducted the Hunter into the Great Hunt, Blood interrupted, demanding the Hunter's exclusion due to fabricated credentials by Mako. Lek, the Huntmaster's assistant, denied Blood's request, prompting Blood to threaten reporting the information to the Mandalore. Blood then directly threatened the Hunter before departing, vowing to claim their skull before the Great Hunt concluded. The Huntmaster completed the Hunter's induction, after which the Hunter and Mako reported to Markon for their first Great Hunt target.
Crysta then directed the Hunter to commandeer a D5-Mantis Patrol Craft from the spaceport, but Blood had forewarned the port authorities. Nevertheless, the Hunter prevailed, eliminating the Imperials and the ship's Neimoidian owner.
The Hunter's initial target was Admiral Ivernus on Balmorra, a high-ranking Imperial official who remained aboard his ship. Mako identified a vulnerability through Major Pirrell, who sought assistance. However, upon landing, they were confronted by Vexx's siblings, who had been informed by Blood that the Hunter had fatally shot Vexx and killed Braden upon discovering the Hunter's "crime." The Hunter managed to convince them of Tarro's deception.
The Hunter soon met with Pirrell, who aimed to discredit his superior and gain Ivernus' favor. He tasked the Hunter with various assignments across Balmorra, ultimately succeeding in drawing Ivernus away from his warship's protection. To Pirrell's surprise, Ivernus intended to execute him for incompetence, before Pirrell's Cathar slave was revealed to be a rival bounty hunter after Ivernus. The Hunter eliminated both the rival and Ivernus simultaneously. The Hunter also chose to spare Pirrell, considering his cowardice. The Imperial vowed to place all blame on the Cathar.
The second target was an avid Republic supporter, a private security consultant and assassin known as the Eidolon, located on Nar Shaddaa. The Hunter and Mako connected with Geleren, a Twi'lek slaver, and Mako's old friend Anuli, who assisted them in sabotaging Eidolon Security. The Eidolon retaliated, killing both Geleren and Anuli before engaging the Hunter in a duel, which the Hunter won. Despite the Hutt Cartel offering a substantial reward for the Eidolon's live capture, the Zabrak pleaded for a merciful death rather than face the Hutts' mercies. The Hunter granted his request.
The next target was a Devaronian fugitive named Tyresius Lokai, who had angered numerous criminal cartels. Blood had tipped off Tyresius, resulting in his ship being shot down over Tatooine. The Hunter eventually cornered the cunning Devaronian at his ship. Tyresius proposed a compromise: the Hunter could shoot a double, fooling even Lek, and Tyresius would work for the Hunter under the alias Gault Rennow. The Hunter accepted.
The fourth target was Duke Corwin, also known as the Durasteel Duke. The Hunter sought assistance from House Girard in tracking down Corwin. During the search, the Hunter broke into the Alde Royal Museum after learning that the Duke was communicating with House Organa via hidden messages. Upon returning to Baron Zacar Girard, it was revealed that Corwin was forming an alliance of multiple houses, including vassals of House of Thul, House Ulgo, and House Organa itself, against House Thul. They also discovered that the "Durasteel Duke" was under the protection of House Rist. The Hunter then decided to infiltrate the Rist estate.
The Duke, however, departed the estate moments before the Hunter's infiltration and fled to Castle Organa. Lord Maddor Rist then contacted the Hunter via hologram and offered a job to eliminate all of House Girard, which the Hunter accepted.
The Hunter ultimately cornered the Duke at an Organa estate, only to discover that Corwin was dead and his sister Muriel Corwin was impersonating him. The Organas then handed over Corwin's body.
The Hunter was soon contacted by Hedarr Soongh, a former Great Hunt Champion, who informed the Hunter that Blood's allies were gathering on Nar Shaddaa to discuss eliminating the Hunter. The Hunter and Mako confronted Braden's murderer and, under Soongh's supervision, engaged in an honorable death duel, which the Hunter won. However, the other Mandalorians rejected Soongh's demand to allow the Hunter to finish the Great Hunt in peace and shot the elderly man. With his dying breath, Soongh pleaded with the Hunter to prevent the Mandalorians from straying from the path of honor, after which the Hunter finished off the rest of Blood's lackeys.
The final target of the Great Hunt was Jedi Master Kellian Jarro, infamous for the most Mandalorian kills during the Sacking of Coruscant. Crysta instructed the Hunter to eliminate Jarro and disable the Republic cruiser Aurora's hyperdrive output regulator, ensuring its destruction upon entering hyperspace. She also revealed that Blood was already pursuing Jarro.
While the Hunter was locating the Aurora, the Hunter's ship was caught in a tractor beam. Meeting with a Republic security team, the Hunter learned that Jarro had captured Blood and convinced him that the Hunter was his accomplice. The Hunter refused to be taken into custody and fought through the ship, finding Blood in the brig. Blood demanded release to settle their feud, claiming it was what Soongh and Braden would have wanted. Mako retorted that Braden would have wanted to see Blood as he was, undeserving of an honorable death. The Hunter agreed to leave Blood in his cell and walked away, ignoring the pathetic former Mandalorian's screams.
The Hunter confronted Jarro on the bridge, who attempted to use a mind trick to subdue the Hunter as he had Blood, but found the Hunter's will much stronger. The Jedi then attempted reasoning, stating that revenge was unprofitable, but the Hunter remained resolute. After the Hunter killed Jarro, his Padawan Thendys Noori encouraged the Hunter to kill her as well, but the Hunter decided to spare her, a decision to be regretted.
After narrowly escaping the Aurora's destruction, the victorious Hunter returned to Dromund Kaas and was proclaimed the Grand Champion of the Great Hunt.
The Hunter was soon summoned to Mandalore the Vindicated's flagship, the Spirit of Vengeance. Mandalore commended the Hunter for their honorable actions during the Great Hunt. He then tasked the Hunter with slaying Akure, the Beast in the Darkness—a Sithspawn on Dromund Kaas—and bringing back a trophy.
Returning to the Sith homeworld, the Hunter found a Mandalorian brigade camped outside the beast's cave. Despite their warnings that no Mandalorian had survived an encounter with the Sithspawn, the Hunter ventured inside. After a long and vigorous fight, the Hunter managed to slay the beast, surprising the Mandalorians.
Returning to the Spirit of Vengeance, the Hunter presented the trophy to Mandalore. Mandalore then revealed that this was a test to see if the Hunter could become a Mandalorian. He reasoned that with the Sith calling on him to fight more wars, he needed a Mandalorian among the Grand Champions. The Hunter accepted membership into his clan. The Hunter and Mandalore then feasted in celebration alongside the other Champions, Bloodworthy, Jewl'a Nightbringer, and the Defenestrator. The Hunter was then granted access to the Blacklist, which was exclusively available to Grand Champion of the Great Hunt.
After becoming a Mandalorian, the Champion traveled to Taris to address the next bounty: Jicoln Cadera, the father of Torian Cadera.

Jicoln Cadera, having challenged the current Mandalore and lost, had gone into exile on Taris. Numerous bounty hunters had attempted to locate him, but all had failed, many losing their lives in the process.
With the assistance of Torian Cadera, who sought to redeem his honor as the son of a traitor, the Hunter defeated Cadera.
The next target on the Blacklist was the renowned Trandoshan Pirate Lord Reneget Vause, who had aligned himself with the White Maw.
The Hunter tracked Vause down, but Vause refused to battle, deeming the Hunter unworthy. With the help of Blizz, a jawa betrayed by Vause, the Hunter eliminated various notable targets until they reached Ki-Ta Kren—Vause's Blood Brother and White Maw taskmaster.
After defeating Kren, the Hunter finally battled and vanquished Vause.
Bloodworthy, Jewl'a Nightbringer, and the Defenestrator reserved a private suite on Nar Shaddaa to celebrate the Hunter's victory.
Unfortunately, the Republic raided it, led by Adeline Marr in an attack directed by the mysterious Jedi master, and killed the three bounty hunters.

In the aftermath of their defeated assault team, Mako accesses the HoloNet and discovers a message broadcasted by Supreme Chancellor Dorian Janarus. Janarus publicly denounces the Hunter for the deaths of Senators and Jedi on Nar Shaddaa, a group that was actually the Champion's. Subsequently, the Republic places the Hunter at the very top of their wanted list, falsely accusing them of countless offenses, many of which they did not commit. A reward of ten million credits is offered for their capture. The HoloNet is filled with accusations, and the Empire publicly denies any association with the Hunter. Seeking advice on where to seek refuge, the Hunter turns to their crew. Blizz suggests hiding amongst his fellow Jawas, while Gault proposes working for the Hutts, an idea that Torian vehemently opposes.
Before a physical altercation could erupt, the Hunter receives a summons from Darth Tormen to his ship, the Tyrant. Upon boarding, the Hunter refuses to surrender their weapons and proceeds to eliminate Tormen's guards, fighting their way to the Sith Lord. Although displeased by the loss of his soldiers, Tormen immediately gets to the point. He states that because Corellia has rejected Imperial control, the Treaty of Coruscant is null and void, and war between the Empire and Republic has begun anew. Tormen desires a quick victory by assassinating Janarus and offers to hire the Hunter for the task. He reveals the identity of Jun Seros, the Jedi Master who serves as the Chancellor's closest advisor. However, both Janarus and Seros are inaccessible while on Coruscant, but Tormen has devised a plan to draw them out. To proceed, certain obstacles must first be eliminated. He orders the Hunter to pursue two Republic targets, capturing them if possible, but eliminating them if they attempt to flee.
The initial target is Zale Barrows on Belsavis, a smuggler who aided the Republic in breaching the Mandalorian blockade and transporting prisoners to the planet. The Hunter locates him at a facility where Barrows is shielded by an energy barrier, safe from both the Hunter and Skadge, a Houk seeking revenge against Barrows.
The Hunter cuts off power to the energy wall, only to discover that Barrows has escaped and Skadge has destroyed Barrows's droid, the only source of information.
After raiding a Republic base, the Hunter acquires the necessary resources and personnel to repair the droid, discovering that Barrows has fled to The Tomb, located deep within Belsavis.
Pursuing Barrows into The Tomb, the Hunter surprises Barrows while he is battling a Sith team sent to free the Dread Masters and defeats him.
Upon returning to their ship, the Hunter discovers Torian is missing. He had gone to meet a friend at a cantina.
Soon after, they receive a message: Torian has been abducted, and the Hunter must travel to Hoth to rescue him.
Arriving on Hoth, the Hunter is ambushed by the GenoHaradan, who explain that bounty hunting is not a game, despite the Mandalorian perspective. The lead kidnapper laments the Hunter's skill, stating that the Overseers would have eventually recruited them, but the bounty on their head was too tempting to ignore.
The next target is Thelonia Redrish, a Republic Kuati General stationed on Voss. By attacking her forces, the Hunter uncovers evidence that she is secretly attacking Imperial forces.
During a hearing on Voss, the General dismisses the Hunter's testimony as unreliable, citing their status as a terrorist and Mandalorian. The hearing concludes with both the Hunter and General Redrish being sent to the Shrine of Healing to undergo trials.
At the Shrine, a Voss Mystic attempts to detain the Hunter, convinced by Redrish that he will disrupt the chance for peace with the Gormak. Meanwhile, Redrish travels to Gorma-Koss and surrenders to the Gormak.
The Gormak king Jokull is unimpressed, but sympathizers free Redrish, who then ventures into the Dark Heart where the Hunter confronts and defeats her.
After dealing with Belsavis and Voss, the Hunter is summoned to the Tyrant while Tormen concludes the Rabaan campaign. However, upon arrival, the dreadnought is boarded by members of the Republic Special Forces Division. The Hunter manages to repel the invaders and regain control of the ship. Tormen then executes the surviving bridge crew after discovering the captain is dead.
Turning his attention back to the Hunter, Tormen reveals his plan to lure both Seros and Janarus. If Corellia is conquered, the Republic will send in military forces. However, if the planet secedes from the Republic, their enemies will be forced to attempt diplomacy. The Hunter will locate the three leading resistance figures, whom Tormen will force to sign a compact. As Corellia is officially declared to be under Imperial rule, Janarus will be compelled to travel to the Republic's founding planet to ratify the treaty, but only after Seros convinces him he can rally the Green Jedi to strike back. Tormen is confident that Seros will engage in combat instead of acting through a proxy as he did with the Hunter. He instructs the Hunter to proceed while he prepares the Tyrant.
The Hunter travels to Corellia and meets with Tormen's subordinates, who identify the first target, Harlon Fane, Chairman of the Corellian Corporate Council. Fane and other councilors have barricaded themselves in the council tower, and Darth Tormen requires their presence at the signing of a treaty with the Empire.
Breaching the tower, the Hunter confronts Fane, who attempts to negotiate his way out of trouble. The Hunter is willing to consider his offer if he pays off the enormous bounty on his head. However, Fane suddenly reneges on his promise and activates his personal shield, ordering his security guards to subdue the Hunter. However, his guards are no match for the Mandalorian. Fearing for his life, Fane begs for mercy, promising to leave Corellia, but the Hunter refuses, as Tormen needs him. Realizing he has no other options, Fane deactivates his shield and surrenders. The Hunter later presents Harlon Fane frozen in carbonite to Tormen.
The Hunter's next objective is to secure a Selonian representative. As locating her would be difficult, the plan is to capture members of the valuable breeding caste. The sept leader Shrona Bel-Il confronts the Hunter after he captures 3 members of the breeding caste with shock collars. After defeating her, the Hunter freezes her and returns to Darth Tormen.
The final target is Corellia's former Civil Police Commissioner Jonah Carter. He has rallied CorSec and the civilians of Corellia to defend it against the Empire. Tormen's forces are besieging CorSec HQ, intending to hold their positions while the Hunter captures him. Upon confronting the commissioner in CorSec HQ, Carter assumes that the Hunter was sent to kill him and warns the mercenary that the Corellian people will riot as a result. However, the Hunter reveals that killing him is not the objective. Guessing that the Hunter is working for the Empire, Carter grimly reminds the Hunter that their employers are not common criminals but despots. He warns that if he is taken down, Corellia will be forced to submit to the Sith and asks if the Hunter's conscience has been erased by their credits. The Hunter states that it is preferable to Corellians being massacred. Carter then uses the opportunity to jump out of the way as his men on the upper levels drop a flash grenade that briefly blinds the Hunter and their companion. Despite having the initial advantage, Carter and his men are defeated. Acknowledging his defeat, Carter tells the Hunter that Corellia will outlast the Empire, but his opponent does not care for his idealism and freezes him in carbonite.
The Hunter travels to Capitol Square to deliver Carter to Tormen in the Grand Assembly. Once all the representatives have been captured and thawed, Tormen forces them to sign a treaty signifying Corellia's legitimate secession from the Republic. Prime Minister Cal Falcone addresses the politicians on Coruscant, demanding that the Supreme Chancellor come to Corellia to ratify the treaty and acknowledge the planet as a member of the Sith Empire. Soon after his announcement, Falcone is executed by Tormen via Force-choke for failing to bring the resistance to heel.
The Hunter then waits patiently before being informed by Tormen that a Republic fleet, led by the Founder, Janarus' flagship, has just arrived in the system. He predicts that Seros will rally the Green Jedi to aid the Republic in one last offensive, giving the Hunter an opportunity to infiltrate the Green Gardens and exact vengeance. Tormen instructs the Hunter to discreetly eliminate Seros and then recover his belongings.
Upon confronting the Jedi battlemaster, Seros refuses his fellow Jedi's offer of assistance and dispatches them on an unknown task. He then criticizes the Hunter for murdering Kellian Jarro and all those sent to capture him, stating that he could have surrendered at any time, instead choosing violence. In turn, the Hunter accuses Seros of killing his fellow Champions and framing him for crimes he did not commit. The Jedi admits that he used the Hunter as a red herring to expose the Sith's true colors before preparing for battle and engaging the Hunter. The Hunter ultimately prevails and stands over the defeated Jedi. Seros retorts that despite his failure, he ensured that everything the Hunter accomplished has been undone. Refusing to let Seros have the last laugh, the Hunter taunts that Janarus is next, and that Seros led him right to his death, before fatally shooting Seros, letting him die with regret.
The Hunter then returns to the Grand Assembly, where Tormen is battling a group of Green Jedi and assists the Sith against them. Once the fighting is over, the Hunter presents Seros' belongings, which include a datapad with all the necessary information to reach the Supreme Chancellor.
The Hunter then returns to their ship, where Tormen outlines a plan for the Hunter to steal a Republic transport, the Firewing, to board the Founder, while being pursued by Imperial fighters to deceive the Republic into believing the Hunter's ship is a friendly vessel under Imperial fire. Once aboard, the Hunter would destroy all space-capable ships to prevent Janarus from escaping and then fight through the Supreme Guard to reach him.
The Hunter executes this plan perfectly, eventually reaching the Supreme Chancellor. Upon being confronted, Janarus requests to speak. He reveals that he has just discovered the immense cost of the operation to apprehend the Hunter and condemns Seros' abuse of power in his vendetta against the Hunter. He does not condone the Hunter's actions but understands that bounty hunting is their profession. Janarus explains that he has already declassified the Hunter and Seros' actions to the public, clearing the Hunter's name of the false crimes, thus creating a political storm that will effectively result in his removal from office. He offers to grant the Hunter immunity for their true crimes in exchange for assassinating Tormen, revealing that the Hunter's employer has been committing massacres on Corellia and Rabaan and Janarus wants to prevent him from gaining more power. The Hunter refuses and kills Janarus.
The Hunter then meets Tormen aboard the Tyrant, who declares that they have secured their place in history and says he will later require the Hunter's skills, to which the Hunter agrees, on the condition that his credits are good.
In 3638 BBY, the Empire hired the Hunter to go to Makeb during the conquest by the Hutt Cartel in order to obtain Isotope-5. During the mission, a groundquake struck, causing Blizz to lose an advanced device he used for torturing Jreely Toomb.

While traveling on Rishi, the Hunter was contacted by Thera Markon, who is the daughter of Crysta Markon, their handler during the Great Hunt. Thera informed them that the Kanawyn Syndicate killed Crysta and that she was placing a bounty on them. After the Hunter dealt with the Syndicate, Thera expressed a desire to use their influence with the Empire to expand her smuggling business to Dromund Kaas.
The Grand Champion, similar to many bounty hunters, possessed a rough, unpredictable character, complemented by a dark sense of humor. To claim their bounties, the hunter consistently opted for the most ruthless strategies. They were known for using a wide range of weaponry, including wrist rockets, flamethrowers, dual blaster pistols, explosive and electro darts, jetpack rockets, electroshock nets, tracer and heat-seeking missiles, retractable wrist blades, and more.
