Reneget Vause, a perilous Trandoshan male Pirate Lord also called the Serpent of the Void, the Sarlacc in Scales, and the Hunter of Worlds, operated as a threat throughout the era of the Galactic War.
Vause haunted the most distant sectors of the galaxy throughout the Cold War. Ultimately, he found himself hunted by a bounty hunter. Following their initial confrontation, the bounty hunter located Vause's subordinate captains and a competing pirate, intending to provoke a direct conflict. Finally, the bounty hunter faced a decision: either apprehend Vause, thus removing all his Scorekeeper points, or engage him in a duel to the death, allowing him an honorable end.
