Grasheel, a Wookiee, became partners with Shamus Falconi. This alliance began in an Algor cantina known as the Airlock. Falconi, fresh from inheriting his grandmother's starship, was in the midst of a celebratory spree when he passed out. The following morning, Grasheel declared himself Falconi's partner. The exact circumstances of this arrangement remain a mystery (except to Grasheel himself), but Grasheel possessed documentation confirming both the partnership and his co-ownership of the newly christened Lumrunner.
