Grathus

Grathus, a terrestrial world, existed within the Grathus system, which itself was situated in the Jospro sector. This sector resided within the Slice region of the extensive Outer Rim Territories. This planet contained several sizable settlements built around mud basins, one of which housed a tavern operated by Xig Rollem.

Sometime around 3 ABY, a newly manufactured Lovolan Supreme-class servant droid had its intended delivery location erroneously altered because of a fault within the manufacturer's computer network. Instead of the expected shipment of waste storage parts, the inhabitants of Grathus received Threna, a servant droid.

Subsequently, Rollem employed the droid in his tavern to serve drinks. Threna's courteous demeanor, initially intended for use in high-end establishments, was well-received by the patrons. As a result, the tavern's previously unruly customers started behaving in a more civilized manner.

Behind the scenes

The planet Grathus made its debut in "Toria Tell's Droid Journal," an article penned by Christian Piccolo. This article was featured in the tenth issue of Star Wars Adventure Journal, a magazine published by West End Games, in May of 1996. The reference work The Essential Atlas, published in 2009, pinpointed the Grathus system, and consequently the planet Grathus, within grid coordinate R-7.
