The Great Assembly Room, situated within the Jedi Order's Jedi Temple on the planet Coruscant in the Core Worlds, was a spacious chamber. It was positioned in a section of the Temple off-limits to Jedi younglings. This area served as a gathering place when a large number of the Order's members needed to meet for particular events. As the Republic Era approached, the Great Assembly Room was used infrequently. Qui-Gon Jinn, a Jedi Padawan, entered the room in 68 BBY while being shown around the Temple by Dooku, his newly assigned Jedi Master.
Master & Apprentice, a novel from 2019 penned by Claudia Gray, featured the Great Assembly Room in a flashback sequence.
