The Great Stair was a staircase situated in the heart of the Grand Terminal spaceport, specifically within Junction City on the planet of Feriae Junction. Serving as a substantial structure, the Great Stair connected the numerous docking bays of the Grand Terminal. Sometime in the period spanning from 1000 BBY to 0 BBY, an individual carrying money for the shipping tycoon Brevis Taug journeyed to the Grand Terminal, in order to deliver some funds that Taug was dispatching to the Zygerrian Thanda clan. A band of spacers, monitoring the transit of Taug's money, positioned themselves on the Great Stair, and trailed the bagman all the way to Docking Bay 112.
