The Greater and Lesser Marks of Illumination are worn by Jedi Master Depa Billaba. A symbol used by the Chalactan Adepts, the Greater Mark of Illumination was a part of the Marks of Illumination set. This gold bead represented both the universe and the all-seeing Uncloseable Eye. The Convocation of Adepts bestowed it upon individuals who had reached Chalactan Enlightenment. This larger version of the Lesser Mark was permanently attached to the Adept's forehead.
Depa Billaba, a Jedi Master, was among those who achieved this enlightenment. Nevertheless, the Summertime War on Haruun Kal profoundly altered her convictions, leading her to ultimately remove the bead, which resulted in a scar.
