Grevoth Prana IX was a king ruling over the Kaboryth cluster, and a male being. This monarch, known for his arrogance and vanity, also engaged in the collection and trading of unusual and perilous beasts, housing them within his vast zoo. He was locked in a prolonged feud with Regent Solculvis of the Mol'leaj system, another royal who possessed a comparable menagerie. During the conflict between the First Order and the Resistance, Prana contracted the services of smuggler Han Solo to acquire three rathtars, perilous creatures with tentacles, for his private zoo, hoping to surpass Solculvis. Solo's failure to provide the rathtars resulted in Prana's dissatisfaction, a fact that became widely known, even reaching Takodana.
