Sergeant Grudo, a male Rodian soldier, participated in the Clone Wars and numerous prior engagements against the Confederacy of Independent Systems.
Grudo, aiming to depart Rodia, feigned being a bounty hunter, frequently sporting bandoleers with multiple sheathed knives across his torso. He infiltrated the Freedom's Sons organization, but during a mission on Bpfassh, he was captured by the Jedi Nejaa Halcyon. Grudo's capture occurred while he was delaying the Jedi to allow the remaining Sons to flee on Halcyon's ship, the Plooriod Bodkin. Halcyon released him, unwilling to return with only one prisoner and become a laughingstock, provided Grudo remained on Coruscant until Halcyon summoned him.
Later, Grudo was drafted into service for the Battle of Praesitlyn. Upon arriving on Praesitlyn, he volunteered for a reconnaissance operation led by Sergeant L'Loxx, with the purpose of identifying potential weaknesses in the Separatist lines. Returning from the successful mission, Grudo was fatally shot in the head by a fellow soldier, Odie Subu. Subu, having narrowly escaped death, mistook Grudo for an approaching enemy and instinctively fired her blaster. After being taken to the aid station Commander Anakin Skywalker visited Grudo, who then passed away after telling Skywalker not to weep for him.
