Gus-Gus (with a pronunciation of "Goose-Goose") Tren served as a communications officer, a role he held within the airborne stronghold known as the Conkesta. He was a male Gungan during the year 31 BBY. Tren found satisfaction in his work and considered it an honor to serve under the leadership of "Boss" Nalvas.
Tren held a negative view of the Red Fury Brotherhood, a pirate group responsible for supplying the Conkesta while it was still under construction. He considered the pirates unprofessional, a sentiment he felt was justified, despite acknowledging the Conkesta's reliance on their deliveries at that juncture. He also harbored a dislike for smugglers.
During his shift, a Brotherhood shuttle neared their location. Unbeknownst to Tren, individuals impersonating pirates manned the shuttle, with the intent of infiltrating and ultimately demolishing the Conkesta. Via the comlink, Tren challenged them, pointing out their tardiness and the use of outdated codes, and bombarded them with requests for information. However, this was merely an expression of his frustrations, as he was aware the Conkesta required the equipment they carried.
Shortly after this exchange, the Conkesta met its destruction.
