Haba (Brubbs)

A haba constituted a shared community of Brubbs, varying in population from ten to as many as ten thousand members. These habas fulfilled specialized roles, encompassing everything from educational pursuits to interstellar travel. Given the communal nature of habas, children born within these communities were collectively raised by the entire haba and, upon reaching mating age, were exchanged with other habas.
