Halla was a Human female character of the Legends continuity who aided Leia Organa and Luke Skywalker as they looked for the Kaiburr crystal.
Halla, an old and peculiar woman, lived on Mimban and possessed Force sensitivity. She was well-liked by the miners there. Her primary goal was to find the famed Kaiburr crystal located within the Temple of Pomojema; she dedicated seven years to this quest, frequently bartering with the local inhabitants in exchange for alcoholic drinks.
Halla, who claimed mastery over the Force, made an agreement with Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia Organa: she would help them leave Mimban, the planet where they were stranded, if they assisted her in locating the crystal. She soon had to liberate Luke and Leia from imprisonment by using the Force to move a food tray and unlock their cell. Later, she accompanied them in a stolen vehicle as they sped through Mimban's marshy terrain, only to encounter a dangerous wandrella.
Having escaped, Halla located Luke and Leia within a Thrella well. She instructed them to traverse a tunnel inside the well to rendezvous with her on the other side. Halla proceeded to the tunnel's opposite end, descended into it, but was subsequently captured by the Coway. She was restrained and forced to witness Luke's battle with a Coway warrior. Upon Luke's victory, Halla was freed.
After sharing a meal with the Coway, Luke sensed the Dark Lord's impending arrival. A fierce underground conflict erupted between the Coway and the Imperials, ultimately resulting in the Coway's triumph. Halla then accompanied Luke and Leia to the temple, where they sought the crystal. She acquired the crystal, presented it to Luke, who then defeated Darth Vader and used it to heal Leia's injuries before returning it to her. Subsequently, she departed Mimban with Luke and Leia to join the Rebel Alliance. However, she confessed to Luke that her claims of Force mastery were false; she was merely a fraud capable of performing "parlor tricks" and little else. Luke and Leia, however, were unconcerned.
