The Hanto Mountains, located on Sulon, were characterized by a pair of prominent, closely situated, and sharply pointed peaks, often called "the twins".
These mountains formed a natural boundary, dividing the planet's semi-arid continental zone, encompassing areas like the Nefra Canyons, from the agricultural lands where Barons Hed and Fuel City were situated.
During the Moldy Crow's escape from Fuel City, Kyle Katarn suggested that Jan Ors pilot the ship towards the Nefra Canyons as a means of evading the pursuing TIE/LN starfighters. As they neared the Mountains, the Crow executed a roll maneuver, successfully navigating between the twin peaks, closely followed by a single TIE fighter. However, the pursuing TIE fighter collided with the mountainside, resulting in an explosion and triggering an avalanche that cascaded down to the mountain's base.
