A starship was under the command of Haplif, who was an Agbui operative working for the expansionist Grysk species located in the Unknown Regions. Haplif, while on the ship, was at the head of a group of 50 Agbui individuals involved in a scheme to dismantle the Chiss Ascendancy for the Grysk agent named "Jixtus." While they were traveling, two Chiss individuals came to reside on the Agbui vessel: the engaged mid-agers Yomie and Coduyo'po'nekri.
