Hapor was a planet of the terrestrial type, situated in the Hapor system within the Inner Rim's region. It possessed an area known as the Griren Province. During the year 0 ABY, a quintet of Galactic Empire stormtrooper deserters forming the Hand of Judgment became involved in a small disagreement over water in the aforementioned province.
Within a period of three months following this incident, Mara Jade, an Emperor's Hand, reviewed a report detailing the Hand of Judgment's participation in the water dispute. Subsequently, she used Hapor as a central location in her efforts to find the group. Soon after this, Jade successfully located the Hand of Judgment on the planet Elegasso.
The planet Hapor received a mention in the 2011 novel titled Choices of One, which was authored by Timothy Zahn. The Online Companion on StarWars.com for The Essential Atlas reference book of 2009 specified that the Hapor system, and consequently Hapor itself, was located in grid square O-8.
