The Harbinger, a Sith dreadnaught, played a role in the Great Hyperspace War around 5000 BBY. Saes Rrogon, a former Jedi who became a Sith Lord, was its commander. While transporting Lignan ore to Sith Lord [Naga Sadow](/article/naga_sadow/legends], the Harbinger and its sister ship, the Omen, were ambushed by a Jedi starfighter. Relin Druur, Saes' previous Jedi Master, boarded the Harbinger and successfully disabled its hyperdrive. Meanwhile, Druur's Padawan, Drev Hassin, fought off several of the Harbinger's own fighters. Ultimately, Hassin crashed the Infiltrator into the Harbinger's bridge, which resulted in the Harbinger colliding with the Omen as they entered hyperspace. The Omen was diverted by the impact and crashed on the distant planet of Kesh. The Harbinger itself traveled through time to 41.5 ABY after passing through a volatile hyperspace tunnel. There, Relin once again faced Saes, using the power of the Lignan ore to kill Rrogon. Druur then directed the Harbinger to crash onto the surface of the frozen moon below, resulting in the ship's destruction and Druur's death.
