Hardshell

Hardshells were beings that inhabited the frigid deserts located on the moon of Jedha. The harsh environment they called home forced them to evolve protective measures for survival. The majority possessed robust exoskeletons, serving as a defense mechanism primarily against predators, rather than the elements. It's important to note, however, that not every hardshell species featured these shells. These protective coverings were surprisingly easy to detach, rendering the creatures vulnerable once removed. Despite their usual swift demise, hardshells were known to lash out and project fluids at perceived dangers.
