Harmon Sho
Captain Harmon Sho, a Nagai warrior, fought under the command of Den Siva during the conflict known as the Nagai–Tof War. During the war, Sho successfully captured several prominent Alliance officials who were on Zeltros for a celebration. After taking Alliance commanders such as Generals Han Solo and [Lando Calrissian](/article/lando_calrissian/legends] as prisoners, Sho had a conversation with his superior officer, Lieutenant Den Siva, to determine their next move. Siva instructed the Nagai Captain to transport the prisoners to the designated meeting location, and after the communication ended, Sho led the captives away to be boarded onto a Nagai transport vessel.
Unbeknownst to Sho, Tof forces had captured Siva and were coercing the Nagai commander into setting a trap for his own soldiers. As Sho and his Nagai troops reached the rendezvous point, they were surprised to find Siva waiting for them, ostensibly to issue new instructions. Just as Siva announced that they would no longer be loading the prisoners onto the transport ship, a Tof assault force, led by Bargthron, launched an ambush, killing numerous Nagai soldiers and inadvertently freeing the captured Alliance dignitaries.
Harmon Sho is murdered by his commander, Lieutenant Den Siva
Severely wounded during the Tof assault, Sho was in the process of dying on the floor of the Zeltros palace. He watched as an Alliance force engaged the Tofs and liberated the remaining Alliance prisoners. Sho was filled with rage as the Alliance celebrated their victory while his fellow soldiers bled on the battlefield. Pushing himself up on his elbow, Sho prepared to fire upon Dani, Luke Skywalker, and Leia Organa as they gathered with the other Alliance members. [C-3PO](/article/c-3po/legends] noticed Sho's intentions but was unable to intervene in time. Fortunately for the Alliance, Den Siva killed his subordinate, partly due to his secret affection for Dani. Sho's demise signaled the conclusion of the Battle of Zeltros, and Siva commenced negotiations for a potential alliance between the Nagai and the Alliance.
Behind the scenes
During his communication with Den Siva, Harmon Sho is depicted by two Nagai who look remarkably different from each other. However, the Nagai with the topknot is the one who is ultimately executed by Siva at the end of the battle, which suggests that the second appearance of the Nagai captain is likely the result of an artistic error.
