Harran was a captain within the Rebel forces, a male Human who lived around 0 ABY. He possessed red hair and stood a bit taller than most.
Roughly eight months following the Battle of Yavin, Harran led a clandestine operation. Its purpose was to infiltrate the Imperial installation situated on Kalist VI, with the goals of extracting Jorin Sol and acquiring crucial fuel reserves. The strategy hinged on Harran and his team, among them Luke Skywalker and Deena Shan, commandeering the Imperial fuel transport Nuna's Twins and masquerading as its personnel to gain entry to the base.
The situation became more complex when the Rebels found out that the base held a large number of prisoners forced into slave labor. Initially, Harran questioned the feasibility of rescuing these prisoners in addition to accomplishing their original mission. However, Luke and Basso successfully convinced him otherwise through their compelling arguments.
Once the Imperials realized they were under attack, Harran intervened to save Deena from Captain Kale Roshuir. Roshuir had uncovered the betrayal, but Harran knocked the officer down. Following this, he orchestrated the Rebel group's departure using a hijacked assault ship.
