The H-TFU, or Heavy Tactical Fighting Unit, represented a battle droid design manufactured by Delban Serv-O-Droid.
Overview
These automatons were engineered with the intention of providing security throughout the galactic landscape. The Bespin mining guild acquired a quantity of these droids, subsequently modifying them into imposing units to patrol and safeguard their assets within the system. Their construction allowed them to endure a diverse array of severe environmental conditions, featuring armored exteriors capable of withstanding substantial impacts, intense assaults, and other damaging events that would overwhelm a less robust droid variant.
Their standard armament consisted of a formidable claw appendage, intended for apprehending thieves and other unwanted individuals. The Bespin miners enhanced their local fighting units by incorporating a deployable vibroblade and equipping them with a lethal cutting laser. They utilized a singular wheel-based leg for locomotion.
History
Kleef, the Gungan Bounty hunter, employed a duo of H-TFUs in his service, unleashing them against Galen Marek. However, the Jedi was successful in overcoming them, employing the Force to dismantle them.
