Herb Trimpe, a comic book artist, passed away on April 13, 2015. He contributed to several issues of the Marvel Star Wars series. Having joined Marvel Comics in the latter part of the 1960s, Trimpe's work spanned various titles, with The Incredible Hulk being among his most recognized. It was on this title that he collaborated to bring the character Wolverine to life. Due to financial difficulties at Marvel, Trimpe's employment was terminated in 1996. Beyond his artistic endeavors, he served as an ordained deacon and authored The Power of Angels, a book detailing his experiences as a chaplain in the aftermath of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks in New York.
