Possessing purple skin, the Hobors adhered to a tribal existence, with a significant portion choosing not to adopt Basic. Their leader was Chief Nimondro. In the years leading up to the Battle of Yavin, both groups sought intervention from the Tion Hegemony to resolve a long-standing dispute. Upon the arrival of Counselor Harthan, his son, Jake Harthan, orchestrated his removal, driven by a desire to eliminate both species. Nevertheless, the younger Harthan's schemes were ultimately foiled by two droids, specifically C-3PO and R2-D2.
