In 16 ABY, during Nil Spaar's visit to Coruscant, Hodidiji was persuaded by Senators Tig Peramis and Cian Marook to offer his support to the Yevethan Viceroy. Following the breakdown of discussions with Chief of State Leia Organa Solo and the subsequent departure of Nil Spaar from the world, Hodidiji relinquished his speaking opportunity on the Senatorial floor to Peramis and, surprisingly, Nil Spaar. Spaar then exploited this opportunity to disseminate falsehoods and misleading information regarding Organa Solo's motives, all while diverting the attention of the New Republic away from the ongoing xenocidal purge taking place within the Koornacht Cluster.
