The internal database utilized by Lucas Licensing to meticulously catalog every fictional detail conceived for the Star Wars narrative is known as the Holocron continuity database. Leland Chee is responsible for its upkeep. The inaugural entry, entitled "Welcome to the Holocron!", was made on February 9, 2000. A significant landmark was achieved 22 years later on February 16, 2022, when the Holocron's content reached 100,000 entries. The band Jefferson Starship, who made an appearance in The Star Wars Holiday Special, is the subject of one of these entries.
Currently, there are no intentions to make any part of the Holocron accessible to the general public. Chee has offered the following as a justification: A rare peek at the Holocron happened during the "30 Years of Star Wars Publishing and Continuity" panel at Celebration IV. Chee reaffirmed at Celebration Anaheim in 2015 that Lucas Licensing will never release the Holocron publicly, because it contains unreleased content.
