Hornagaunts
These multi-stomached, furry creatures, whose wings were frequently trimmed upon domestication, originated from Tertiary Kesmere. Their naturally aggressive temperament rendered them both perilous and valuable as companions. The droid information-broker 8t88 owned a hornaguant known as Grendel.
Hornagaunts, possessing a frightening visage, exhibited a keen sense of smell and vocalized through growls or purrs to convey contentment or vigilance. Distinctive features included an underbite and prominent eyelids. It is known that certain hornagaunts possessed radiant red eyes. They would thump their short tail against the floor to show they were comfortable, or were curious about something.
