The Hornet-class carrier, a sizable warship, was engineered by the SoroSuub Corporation in the time leading up to the Invasion of Naboo. It is seen as similar to a Frigate.
Its slender form and a bridge positioned close to the middle made the ship easy to spot. Certain ships had ion engines with baffles added to make them harder to detect.
During an attack on Station TFP-9, two of these ships provided assistance to a group of Z-95 Headhunters and Vulture-class droid fighters. The goal was to seize several Naboo N-1 starfighters along with N-X police cruisers.
