Hot Prospect was a Calipsan 560 mining ship. Zayne Carrick and his associates utilized this vessel following their time on the Vindication.
Marn Hierogryph tasked Slyssk with acquiring a new spacecraft for their collective. Slyssk, unfamiliar with purchasing starships due to his history of unauthorized acquisitions, found himself in uncharted territory. The saleswoman he encountered misled him, presenting the Hot Prospect as an exceptional vessel, while its true nature was that of a mining craft. Consequently, Slyssk opted to purchase the Calipsan mining vessel, which possessed an unappealing aesthetic both internally and externally. Gryph subsequently assigned Slyssk the task of restoring the ship as repayment for his life debt.
Subsequently, Jarael and Rohlan Dyre employed the ship during their journey to Metellos 3. Upon Zayne's eventual reunion with his comrades, Gryph presented the ship to the former Jedi, much to Carrick's astonishment and bewilderment. The ship later served as transportation for the group to the Chancellor Fillorean, Pantolomin, Wor Tandell, and ultimately, the Koornacht Cluster, where it engaged in a spaceborne conflict against the Gladiator.
