Around 3660 BBY, House Comprassi was recognized as one of Serenno's prominent Great Houses. In the era of the Great Galactic War, the Sith successfully seized control of the planet Serenno as part of their campaign against the Galactic Republic military, which was led by Jedi Master Ven Zallow. House Palerma, another of Serenno's houses, had formed an alliance with the Jedi, allowing Zallow to establish his base in their villa. Despite this alliance, Darth Malgus and his Sith forces triumphed, gaining dominion over Serenno. Not content to remain passive, House Comprassi, in conjunction with House Teramo, engaged mercenaries to launch a counter-offensive against the Sith occupiers. This endeavor proved unsuccessful; Sith assassins ambushed and killed all of the mercenaries in the shadows.
