House Veruna was a Naboo family of noble status, native to the planet of Naboo. Around 135 BBY, Cosinga Palpatine claimed that House Veruna and House Tapalo colluded to employ a band of mercenaries to assault the indigenous Gungans of Naboo, all in an effort to exploit Naboo's plasma reserves. Some years after this conspiracy, Ars Veruna from House Veruna was chosen to be the monarch of Naboo.
