Hover Droid (small)
Small, floating combat droids known as Hover Droids were used at Cloud City just prior to the Occupation of Bespin. While hovering, a Hover Droid would spin. A larger model was available in addition to the Hover Droid.
Behind the scenes
The video game Super Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back marked the initial appearance of Hover Droids, although they received their name in the strategy guide titled Super Empire Strikes Back Official Game Secrets. It is worth noting that another droid featured in Super Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back shares the name Hover Droid.
