Thella, Huffreys' superior officer, brought him along to Lorana's Labyrinth to rendezvous with a local infochant referred to as "The Finder". Despite his doubts about her strategy, Huffreys aided in forcing their way through the throng of extraterrestrial beings to reach the Finder's location. As the two engaged in discussions, Huffreys maintained vigilance, at one point seizing the Finder's arm when he seemed to pose a threat to his commander.
After the Finder arranged for Okeefe to smuggle the team away from Kelada, Huffreys and his comrades successfully evaded the Imperial blockade and proceeded to Gelgelar.
