Hunti Pereg, a proficient bounty hunter, was among a group of six individuals contracted to apprehend Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi in the waning years of the Galactic Republic. During an attempt to attack the Jedi using thermal detonators, he was incapacitated. Subsequently, Granta Omega impersonated the wounded Hunti Pereg in an effort to lure the Jedi back to their vessel; however, the Jedi subsequently encountered the authentic Hunti Pereg. During a confrontation with Obi-Wan, Pereg met his death when his own detonator detonated within conducting water.
