Ice-beetle

The ice-beetles, denizens of Endor, were a species of creature. A poisonous bite from these creatures could freeze their prey, trapping them in ice. The sole antidote to the ice-beetle's venomous bite was the sap extracted from the fire plant, which grew only on the Mountain of Doom.
