IG-88A

IG-88A, one of the five similar IG-88 assassin droids, was rumored to have been manufactured by Holowan Laboratories as part of a clandestine Imperial initiative referred to as Project Phlutdroid. Upon being activated, IG-88A, along with the other droids, murdered the scientists who built them and devised a scheme to eliminate all organic beings. Simultaneously, IG-88B took on the role of a bounty hunter in order to divert attention from IG-88A's activities.
