Ilia Orpin

Ilia Orpin, a Jedi Master of the female persuasion, dedicated her service to the Jedi Order as both a historian and the gatekeeper responsible for safeguarding a Jedi holocron. Her most significant contribution was a comprehensive record of the Order's past and beginnings, culminating in a work known as the "Revan Mythologies." A recurring theme throughout these mythologies involves tales of the Rakata, a reptilian species, and the manner in which their Infinite Empire achieved dominance over the galaxy. This dominance was achieved through the employment of unique technology and hyperspace-capable ships that harnessed the Force as their energy source. Within the Revan Mythologies, Jedi heroes frequently encounter Rakatan artifacts possessing substantial power, facing the dilemma of either destroying these devices or succumbing to their corrupting influence. Following the emergence of the Galactic Empire and the subsequent downfall of the Jedi, Orpin's writings were frequently disregarded by scholars who viewed them as mere myths and legends. These scholars posited that the mythologies were essentially a modernized adaptation of the Qel-Droma Epics, intended to better educate Jedi younglings of that era.
