Imperial was a painting present within the galaxy in the timeline following the Battle of Yavin, specifically during the era of the Galactic Civil War. Its release coincided with the Empire Day celebrations held in Theed. The artwork portrayed Darth Vader, the Dark Lord of the Sith who also held the position of Supreme Commander for the Imperial Forces, with his lightsaber in hand while extending his left hand. The backdrop featured orange clouds intermingled with black smoke.
This piece of art was featured in the massively multiplayer online roleplaying game Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided released in 2003, before the game's servers were shut down on December 15, 2011. Within the game, the painting was actually titled Seven Years of Galaxies: Imperial. It was designed as a tribute to the seventh anniversary of Star Wars Galaxies. Players could acquire the painting during the Empire Day festivities of 2010.
