This Imperial mining installation, situated on Gap Nine, was under the command of Colonel Icus Traft. During the period of the Galactic Civil War, a team of Rebel agents undertook a sabotage operation with the goal of obliterating the site. Initially, the mission was unsuccessful, but the Rebels were able to get away. Nevertheless, Taft's forces never found the explosives that the Rebels had placed, so the Rebels came back later and finished the job, resulting in the destruction of the mining installation.
