Imperial-class 1-H repulsortank
The Imperial-class 1-H repulsortank, alternatively referred to as the Imperial Repulsortank 1-H, represented a heavily armed version of the standard Imperial-class repulsortank.
Description
Ubrikkian Industries manufactured the 1-H as the standard production model for the Imperial-class repulsortank line. Its primary offensive capability was a single Merr-Sonn Munitions, Inc. Mark 4e/S heavy laser cannon, which was considered among the best laser cannons used by the Imperial Army. Supplementing this, it featured a Mark 3/S Medium Blaster Cannon as a secondary weapon, along with two additional blaster cannons mounted on each side of the hull, significantly increasing its overall firepower. The 1-H required a crew of five, consisting of a driver, two gunners, and a commanding sergeant. The tank also had capacity for a single passenger. Like all Imperial-class repulsortanks, the 1-H shared the same 20.5 meter-long chassis and could achieve speeds of up to 300 kilometers per hour. Its cargo hold could accommodate 250 kilograms, and it had a ground clearance of two meters. The cost of a 1-H was 50,000 credits.
History
From the initial production of 1,500 repulsortanks, 1,420 were deployed to the first Death Star, while the remaining units were assigned to the Imperial Hammers Elite Armor Unit. Following the station's destruction, during which most of these tanks were lost, production continued, albeit at a slower pace.
The Imperial Hammers were not involved in the Battle of Hoth because of unit reorganization and retraining. Colonel Zel Johans, the commanding officer, later argued that their 1-H tanks would have performed better against the defending Alliance forces than General Veers's AT-ATs.
Behind the scenes

The The Rebel Alliance Sourcebook's depiction of the Imperial repulsortank shows a slightly different design compared to other representations of the 1-H, potentially leading to the creation of the Imperial Heavy Repulsortank.
