Imperial survey camp

An Imperial survey camp was built within an unexplored region of Endor's Forest moon during the Galactic Civil War. The Imperial exploration group suffered an assault by diminutive beings sometime around the Battle of Yavin, shortly after the camp's establishment. Imperial scouts had to run away from the camp, and one scout's body was left behind. Tinrilo x'Rilsam, an explorer, came across the deserted camp during his Endor explorations. After examining the destruction, he came to the conclusion that Ewoks may have been the attackers of the Imperial survey group.

Behind the scenes

The Imperial survey camp appeared in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game created by Sony Online Entertainment and released by LucasArts, before it shut down on December 15, 2011. The Imperial survey camp was one of the numerous unmapped points of interest located on the moon of Endor. After the Star Wars Galaxies: Jump to Lightspeed expansion was released in 2004, uncommon data storage unit devices could occasionally be obtained as loot from space combat. A specific data storage item, called "an Explorer's Log (7/8)," included a comprehensive history of the Imperial survey group.
