This vehicle offered complete enclosure and featured a rotatable laser cannon to safeguard its six occupants, encompassing the driver. A spare wheel was affixed to the vehicle's rear, intended as a substitute for any of the eight wheels in the event of tire damage.

This transport vehicle, known as the Imperial Troop Carrier, is featured in the 2000 video game titled Star Wars: Force Commander. Furthermore, it makes an appearance in the short story Fool's Bargain, published in 2004.
